Graphic Design
I have been involved with a few different graphic design projects that are worth sharing. I am always open to do more work in this area.
Pioneer Institute for Public Policy Research
As a Communications Intern for the Pioneer Institute in Boston, I designed many graphics including daily “Fact of the Day” posts as part of a marketing campaign I designed to promote a suite of online government transparency databases called MassWatch.
Maplewood House T-Shirt
During my UMass Amherst days, my friends and I became frequent visitors to an off-campus house turned music venue known as the Maplewood House. In their heyday, Maplewood hosted some amazing parties, with multiple live bands performing in the basement, omelettes cooking on demand in the kitchen and a giant bonfire raging in the backyard. Right before the pandemic, the house put on a t-shirt design content which I won with the design above - inspired by the facade of nearby abandoned farmstand for which the house was named. Unfortunately, these were never printed as that academic year was cut short by the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic and the house obviously became unable to host more shows. However, these still stand as one of my favorite graphic design projects as well as a symbol of simpler times past.
Supply and Demand Podcast
I designed multiple logos for the Supply and Demand Podcast, a project I founded with my friends during college.
UMass Amherst House Council Programming
In my involvement with my college dorm House Council, I designed flyers for a number of events for students in residence.
Floor Hockey Logo
I designed a logo for a friend’s band, Floor Hockey, to be featured on custom instruments for the musicians.
Xaverian Brothers High School
XLI 40 Logo
Xaverian Leadership Institute is an annual five day leadership retreat at Stonehill College run by Xaverian Brothers High School for each rising class of seniors.
Every year, a student participant is chosen to design the logo for the retreat. I designed the logo for XLI 40, which was then featured on journals, shirts, water bottles, and drawstring bags given to the students during the August 2016 retreat.
Cancer Awareness Week Logo
In November 2016, student groups at Xaverian Brothers High School ran a Cancer Awareness Week and fundraiser night called Soar for a Cure. More than $5000 was raised to donate to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
I designed a logo used in marketing for the event and featured on bandanas sold to students as part of the fundraising to wear as symbols of solidarity with those whose lives have been affected by cancer.
Also, for whatever it's worth, I designed this website on my own. If you think I did a good job, I'm always up for more work in the Squarespace/web design field.
